Hello. We’re a web presence management company located in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

“I bet you can’t create my website and manage my SEO & social media for $350 a month.”

A friend made this challenge when I was toying with the idea of starting my own web design business back in 2010.

“You’re on” was my reply to him, thinking that it was certainly possible without cutting corners in order to deliver a quality product accompanied by quantifiable results.

Mistakes were made, along with sleepless nights and thoughts of throwing in the proverbial towel. It’s a good thing that I plugged along, as that very first project forced me to think creatively and execute tasks very efficiently in more ways than I can imagine.

The result: a robust and efficient web presence management process that small business owners can truly afford, encapsulated in a business called CommerceCollective. The business became more than just web design; it evolved into a system for customer acquisition, retention, and post-sale engagement.

This bootstrapping, think-on-your-feet and roll-up-your-sleeves kind of work ethic isn’t uniquely mine. It’s in the DNA of every successful business owner and anyone who’s ever dipped their toes in the lake of entrepreneurship. I say this for no other reason than to let you know that I understand.
